Dont Wait – Dashboard Confessional
Nghệ sĩ: Dashboard Confessional
Hợp Âm Chuẩn
Hi, seemed there were no simple chord layouts of this song yet, so I've decided to throw myself in.
By the way, it's my first tab. So the complaint department is in South Africa :P :P
It's really quite simple. Standard tuning, CAPO on fret 3.
[INTRO] , , ,
The sky glows
I see it shining with my eyes closed
I hear your warnings but we both know
I'm gonna look at it again
Don't wait, Don't wait
The road is now a sudden sea
And suddenly, you're deep enough
To lay your armor down
To lay your armor down
To lay your armor down
You get one look
I'll show you something that the night took.
A bit to early for my own good
Now let's not speak of it again
Don't wait, Don't wait
The road is now a sudden sea
And suddenly, you're deep enough
To lay your armor down
To lay your armor down
Musical intermission... , , , (same as intro)
Don't wait, Don't wait
The lights will flash and fade away
The days will pass you by
Don't wait
To lay your armor down
To lay your armor down
And the song finishes just like it begins, on a long C chord... nice...
Also, for the fancier ones, if you want to get that neat change of notes within the C
Am chords, all you have to do is this:
for the C: for the Am:
e|----0----0---0---0- |---0---0---0---0-|
B|----1----0---1---0- |---1---0---1---0-|
G|----0----0---0---0- |---2---2---2---2-|
D|----2----2---2---2- |---2---2---2---2-|
A|----3----3---3---3- |---0---0---0---0-|
E|----x----x---x---x- |---x---x---x---x-|
Anyways... i think you get the point. It really isn't a hard song to play, at least like
But it's got a good feel to it. Beautiful simplicity.
