Intro
Verse 1→ Phiên khúc
ch]A[/ch] [ch]A7[/ch] [ch]D[/ch
What a beautiful thought I am thinking
ch]E7[/ch] [ch]A[/ch
Concerning the great speckled bird
ch]A[/ch] [ch]A7[/ch] [ch]D[/ch
And to know that my name is recorded
ch]E7[/ch] [ch]A[/ch
On the pages of God's Holy Word
ch]A[/ch] [ch]A7[/ch] [ch]D[/ch
Desiring to lower her standard
ch]E7[/ch] [ch]A[/ch
They watch every move that she makes
ch]A[/ch] [ch]A7[/ch] [ch]D[/ch
They long to find fault with her teachings
ch]E7[/ch] [ch]A[/ch
But really she makes no mistake
Interlude
Verse 2→ Phiên khúc
ch]A[/ch] [ch]A7[/ch] [ch]D[/ch
I am glad I have learned of her meekness
ch]E7[/ch] [ch]A[/ch
I am glad that my name is on her book
ch]A[/ch] [ch]A7[/ch] [ch]D[/ch
For I want to be one never fearing
ch]E7[/ch] [ch]A[/ch
The face of my Savior to look
ch]A[/ch] [ch]A7[/ch] [ch]D[/ch
And when He cometh descending from heaven
ch]E7[/ch] [ch]A[/ch
On a cloud like He said in His Word
ch]A[/ch] [ch]A7[/ch] [ch]D[/ch
I'll be joyfully carried to meet Him
ch]E7[/ch] [ch]A[/ch
On the wings of the great speckled bird
