Boomerang – Passenger
Nghệ sĩ: Passenger
Hợp Âm Chuẩn
UPDATE:
Mike posted his official album version on 10 Sep 2026:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQmBMpc7ZHo
I have left my original post of his demo version at the end of this tab to
include his original lyrics and longer intro and outro tabs.
I have added my attempt to capture chords and tab for the new album version at
the beginning.
Capo 2 to play these shapes with the album version
NOTE: for his album audio he has his guitar tuned to 447 Hz instead of the
standard 440 Hz
On most of his C chords, he hammers on to fret 2 of the D string.
Chords with a single asterisk indicate a quick stop of the chord
The brief tabs below describe what I thin he is playing for the intro,
some of the repeated passages in the picked first verse, and an approximation
of some of the ringing notes in the strummed bridge section.

What continues below was my attempt to capture chords (with intro and outro tab)
to play along with Passenger's original demo video in 2024:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCwuFDJFB-U
Capo 4 to play these shapes with the demo video linked above and with some
of his live performances.
I might not have the intro and outro tabbed exactly the way he is playing it,
but it should be very close.
He uses similar patterns with slight variations throughout verse 1 and the chorus then,
beginning with the next instrumental section, he strums until the chords drop out at
the end of the last chorus and he goes back to picking for the outro.
For the outro, he also slows the tempo down.
For the C chords, he frequently uses a hammer on to the 2nd fret.
