Verse→ Phiên khúc
ch]G[/ch
I'm just a simple working man
ch]Am7[/ch
Gettin' by the best I can
ch]Bbdim[/ch] [ch]G/B[/ch
In this crazy mixed-up muddled-up world that I live in.
ch]G[/ch
I'm a middle class sort of a guy
ch]Am[/ch
I'm not rich but I get by
ch]Bbdim[/ch] [ch]G/B[/ch
Pretending that I know just what I'm doin'.
ch]C[/ch
I'm a well bred upper class sort of chap,
ch]Dm7[/ch
I don't care much about this and that
Even when I know there's trouble brewin'.
ch]G[/ch
We think there's a change in the weather
ch]Am[/ch
We've got to learn to stick together.
ch]Bbdim[/ch
We've seen the thunder clouds in the sky,
ch]G7/B[/ch
I wanna live, I don't wanna die.
Melody Riff1 C G
[ch]C[/ch] [ch]G[/ch] [ch]C[/ch] [ch]G[/ch] [ch]C[/ch] /E [ch]G[/ch] /F /E

ch]G[/ch] [ch]Am[/ch
See the holocaust risin' over the horizon,
ch]Bbdim[/ch] [ch]G/B[/ch
Gonna see a manifestation, total chaos, devastation,
ch]G[/ch
Anticyclone and tornados brewin',
ch]Am[/ch
Gonna feel the lightnin' strikin',
ch]G/B[/ch
Thunder clap smoke stack frightnin',
ch]C[/ch
There's gonna be evil doin',
ch]Dm7[/ch
There's trouble brewin',
ch]Ebdim[/ch
Everybody scared,
ch]C/E[/ch] /E [ch]Ebdim[/ch] [ch]G7/D[/ch
Too much thunder, too much fightin'.
ch]G[/ch
Heavy storm clouds comin',
ch]Am[/ch
Gonna cover up the sun
ch]Bbdim[/ch
And gonna terrify everyone,
Melody Riff1
Better pack up your bags and run.
ch]C[/ch] [ch]G[/ch] [ch]C[/ch] [ch]G[/ch] [ch]C[/ch] /E [ch]G[/ch

I'm not sure about the "See the holocaust risin' over the horizon" section.
I've tried playing with the follow chords to get the dramatic ascent:
Also, on the 'I think the weather's changing' bit. I suggest a moving bass line.
Apologies if it is out of tempo. Take a listen and you can get it more accurate.
On the first line where I've put the G walking down to the D via /F /E, a climb,
like G A B C C# to the Dm is also nice
I play this on my fender rhodes keyboard and it sound good. I think the bass
patterns are tricky on the guitar. You really need a euphonium, a french horn
and other selected brass.!
