There are two guitars in this song
The electric guitar you hear strumming in the verse
is playing something slightly different.
These are the chords that the acoustic
is playing.
I used the lyrics from the version on Myles Kennedy's Myspace.
I don't know if they're different than the album.
Also, the song is played in
Drop D tuning, but its not really necessary
if you want to play the song.

Flowers placed
At the foot of the grave
Of the one we lost forever
Jesus please
Let her soul rest in peace
And make way a new angel's in heaven
Summergirl went away
Everything has been dying
Summergirl went away
And the sun doesn't shine
All alone
In the house we called home
And the walls still echo of her laughter
We'd dream of a world
Far away we'll never know
Since she left i don't dream anymore....
Summergirl went away
Everything has been dying
Summergirl went away
And the sun doesn't shine
